Inside Out

Christians who get criticized the most are the ones who truly embrace the scripture in which God calls us to not be of this world while we are living in it because His kingdom is not of this world (John 18:36). They get criticize because they are surrounded by those who choose to live opposite of a christian life. They are bringing truth to those who may have never read the bible before or listened to a sermon. We should eliminate this way of thinking and not be so quick to make assumptions we are called to be a light and make a impact around those we communicate and associate with on a daily basis. We are the light of God.

We are called to bring truth and love by illuminating our dark surroundings with the light of God. God illuminated our darkened souls. The invisible became visible our deep cuts and scars have been healed our sins have been removed all because of Jesus Christ. Him being the light of the world came to this sinful world died on the cross and destroyed the kingdom of darkness inside out. He not only penetrated darkness but also over came it because darkness can not over come light (John 1 :5).

Light does not only penetrates darkness but it also attracts those who sees it. It is written that God’s word is a lamp for our feet, a light on my path (Psalm 119:105). God’s word is attractive because it is light. His word is truth and it guides us to have a blessed life. God even calls us to test His word to see how good He is (Psalm 34:8)!

God has changed every believer from the inside out. Our lifestyle, habits, and way of thinking has been changed or is in the process of being changed. He calls us to do the same to change our community and environment. To be a witness of the Light of the world.

Can people see the light in you???
